If you currently have a loan through Empower that you are making payments on, then the address you mail your quarterly loan payments to has been changed to the following:

2023 Medical and Dental Insurance – UPDATE #2

Medical Insurance Cards have been mailed from MVP Health Care on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  Members should be receiving their Medical Insurance Cards during the week of January 1st.  MVP Health Care is currently working on the Dental Insurance Cards.  These cards will be mailed within the next two weeks.  Once we receive the Summary of Benefits for the Dental, we will post it to the website.  Once it is posted, you can click on “Members” then “Health Benefits.”  We are also working on putting some of the App/Login information on our website.   Again, thank you for your patience as we make this transition.

2023 Medical and Dental Insurance – UPDATE

After a progress meeting today with MVP, we have been informed that three (3) mailings will take place.  You will receive your Medical insurance cards in an unmarked envelope that will be mailed out approximately the end of next week.  You will receive another envelope with your welcome information, describing steps to have access to their website either on your computer/Ipad/laptop or using the mobile app for your phone, as well as, a 2023 Explanation of Benefits (EOB).  The last mailing you will receive, will be your Dental insurance cards, which will also be in an unmarked envelope approximately the first week of January 2023.  Please make sure you open your junk mail so that you don’t mistakenly discard your new insurance cards.  We will continue to update you via this website as we know more information.   Again, thank you for your patience as we transition to MVP.

2023 Medical and Dental Insurance

Please make note that you will be receiving notification from Excellus informing you that your insurance coverage is being terminated effective December 31, 2022.  This is because Local #112’s insurance coverage will now be through MVP effective January 1, 2023.  Welcome packets and new insurance cards will be issued by MVP early next week and you should be receiving them before the end of the year.  Your insurance coverage and deductibles have not changed.  More information regarding MVP’s website, mobile app, Summary of Benefits, etc.  will be posted on this website shortly.  Also, your HRA monies will continue to be through ProFlex – this has not changed.  We appreciate your patience as we make this change to MVP.

HRA Benny Cards Through Pro-Flex

The CARES Act was signed into law on Friday, March 27, 2020 as an additional piece of legislation crafted to help Americans during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. We now have additional information to share regarding the new legislation.

For employees who are currently enrolled in our Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Pro-Flex has added a short list of CARES Act FAQ’s to their website. Pro-Flex has also shared some guidelines regarding items that are newly eligible for reimbursement. A comprehensive FSA eligibility list is available on the Pro-Flex website under the “Resources” menu.
