Retiree Pension Checks/Direct Deposit

It was the decision of the SMW #112 Pension Fund Trustee's with the guidance of SMW #112's Fund Attorney and Pension Fund Actuary that effective May 1, 2012 the retiree check writing/direct deposit be transferred from Prudential to Chemung Canal Trust Company.  Those involved in this decision felt that this change was in the best interest of SMW #112 Pension Plan both financially and administratively.

With any change we realize that there is an adjustment period.  We are asking for your patience with both Local #112 and Chemung Canal Trust Company as we work through any issues that may occur during this transitional period.

A notice will be mailed to all retirees regarding this change at the end of the first week in May 2012.  In this letter, additional information will be provided.

Please make note that per Chemung Canal Trust Company all retiree pension checks were mailed on Monday, April 30, 2012.
If you have direct deposit, Chemung Canal Trust Company transmitted these on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

If you need to contact Chemung Canal Trust Company for any changes, such as, address/Federal or State Tax/Etc. please contact them using the information listed below:
